Attic fan fire chars wood in Riva home

As discussed during the dispatch call, firefighters responded to a residence near Rolling Road in Riva for a report of a smoking attic fan. Crews investigated the attic and second floor, found charred wood around the fan, and secured the power while checking for any fire spread, including from the interior to the exterior walls and gable.
