Assault suspect detained after dumbbell attack report

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers detained a man near Hall Street after a reported assault in which the offender claimed to have hit another person with a dumbbell. Police are canvassing the area south of a nearby address to try to locate the possible victim, who was not in contact with the caller.
