Kayak water rescue underway near lake picnic area

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews in the Rochford area are conducting a water rescue near a lakeshore picnic area after reports of a person seen hanging onto a kayak. Multiple fire, rescue, and medical units, along with an air ambulance, are using boats and shoreline access points to search the water and reach the kayak.
