Driver hits village light pole and leaves scene

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a report of a possible hit-and-run near Locust Lane in Roselle, where a neighbor allegedly backed out of a driveway, struck a village light pole, and left the area. The pole was knocked down with wires exposed, and officers requested public works to respond. The driver later returned to the scene. In a separate call, officers checked on a man reportedly walking in the roadway near Mentzing and Edenwood making unusual hand signals.
