As discussed during the dispatch call, radio traffic describes severe weather near Sabetha, Kansas, with heavy rainfall, strong north-northeast winds, very low visibility, power loss on the west side of town, and standing water on Main Street near Fifth and Sixth. A deputy later reports apparent heavy flooding near Eighth Street and Roosevelt Street, and Hillcrest Apartments are mentioned during the updates.
