Vehicle crash and fire on Highway 2 ditch

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies and fire crews responded to a vehicle crash with a fire in a ditch near the 8400 block of Highway 2. A woman in the vehicle reportedly fell asleep before the crash, and responders worked to get her out while medical help was initially declined.
