Male reportedly attempting hanging during psychiatric crisis

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a reported psychiatric crisis near E Alcove Circle near 8705 South in Sandy. An unknown-age male, recently discharged from a hospital for a psychiatric issue, was reportedly attempting to hang himself using a belt from a banister and was acting violently toward others in the home. Police were responding/arrived on scene.
