Structure fire with one person rescued

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a structure fire near Klingerman Street and Strozier Avenue in South El Monte. The incident escalated to a second alarm, and command was established on the alpha side of the building. One person was rescued from the structure and was being evaluated by medical personnel while crews shifted to a defensive firefighting posture. No additional victims were found in the primary search.
