Person rescued after drowning at Singing Pines recreation area

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a possible drowning at a recreation area off Highway 29 South near Singing Pines. A patient was reported to have been pulled from the water, collapsed, and later appeared to be awake on a nearby island while rescuers worked to assess their condition.
