Chief complaint today, injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle. Patient was the helmeted cyclist struck by a motor vehicle at approximately 20 miles an hour. Initial reports and first responders were that the patient was unresponsive on scene. Upon our arrival, patient was upright, conscious-learned oriented, though he does have retrograde amnesia surrounding the event and has been perseverating throughout the duration of our contact. Injuries identified as follows. He has a large contusion to the top of his head and a smaller one to the occipital low. Keith is intact, chest walls stable and intact, respiration is non-labor. He also has more operations down his arms and legs. He is only voicing complaints of localized pain to those contusions. Vitals as follows. High rate of 47 sinus rhythm on the monitor. 100% saturation on room air, 132 over 8.7 for a pressure. He is not on any blood centers. I have an 18 gauge in the right A.C.
