10-Year-Old Bitten by Dog on Cleveland Place

Summary: Engine 10 and Medic 78 responded to a report of a 10-year-old male bitten on the arm by a dog at 1755 Cleveland Place, near West 18th Avenue, in Lane County, Oregon. The patient was initially inside an apartment but later found on benches near the entrance to the back. The dog entered a nearby apartment and was no longer near the victim. The child, who was conscious and breathing, was subsequently transported to urgent care by a guardian. Responding units cleared and returned to service.
