Fire Alarm and Water Flow Investigation at Lane Event Center

Summary: Engine 1 responded to a fire alarm at the Lane Event Center, located at 796 West 13th Avenue, Lane County, Oregon. Upon arrival, crews encountered an audible and visual alarm and met with a reporting party (RP) outside the building. The RP reported water flowing from a drain, which was later determined to be rainwater rather than an active fire suppression system discharge. Fire personnel attempted to reset the alarm system and coordinated with building representatives and a fire alarm contractor (Omlid & Swinney) to resolve the situation. No fire or hazardous conditions were found.
