High-Rise Fire at Sonic on East Montgomery Crossroad

Summary: Multiple fire units, including engines, truck, rescue, safety, battalion, and hazmat teams, were dispatched to a reported high-rise fire at the Sonic restaurant located at 3303 East Montgomery Crossroad, with cross streets Edgewater Road and Brew Street, in Chatham County, Georgia. Upon arrival, Engine 2 reported smoke coming from the bathroom in the back of the Sonic. Command was established on scene, and after assessment, all units except Engine 2 and Truck 2 were released back to service. There were no further reports of escalation or injuries.
