Access Issue for Emergency Response at Stonepun Apartments

Summary: DeKalb County Fire Rescue units, specifically Intermediate 40, responded to an incident at Stonepun Apartments, 6757 Covington Highway, Apartment 303. Upon arrival, responders encountered difficulty accessing the building due to a malfunctioning gate code and an unresponsive call box. Multiple attempts were made to enter using provided codes and by contacting a resident, but the entry system did not allow all digits to be entered. The responders coordinated with dispatch and attempted callbacks to resolve the access issue and gain entry to assist the individual in need.
