Reported house fire found to be brush burn pile

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews were dispatched to a possible structure fire near Warner Road in the Urbanna area after reports of heavy smoke and a burning plastic odor. Responding units later reported the source appeared to be a controlled brush pile burn, and most departments were canceled while a brush unit continued to the scene. A separate medical call involved an adult woman with a severe nosebleed near Kirk’s Ferry Road in Saluda.
