Multiple departments battle Pine Barrens structure fire

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire and rescue units from several departments responded to a reported structure fire and gas leak near Route 25A and South Wading River Road in the Pine Barrens area. Command was established with a rapid intervention team, exposure protection, road closures near Buckley and Evans, and additional standby engines requested for East Brentwood and Lakeland fire departments. Units also checked the surrounding area near Miller Avenue and Melrose Avenue before later returning to service.
