False crash alert leads to phone found on highway

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to an automatic traffic crash notification along State Highway C in the Lewis County area near a rural address. Law enforcement and EMS searched the roadway and did not find a crash. Responders later located a phone along the highway, and a deputy was sent to take possession of it for a possible property report.
