As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a small strip of grass burning near East Road in the Weldon area, affecting about 5 by 20 feet of vegetation in an agricultural setting. The fire, referred to as the Yavapai incident, was contained with a slow rate of spread, and units stayed on scene to mop up.
