Small fire pit burn extinguished by owner

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a small outdoor fire in a backyard fire pit near Cochran Lane in White Salmon. They spoke with the resident, who was cooperative and put out the fire. The flames were reported completely out, with only a small burn pile remaining in the pit. Law enforcement response was canceled.
