Transformer explosion ignites tree at Diane Street

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units responded to a report that a transformer exploded and a tree caught fire near Diane Street and Gwyn Street in Wingate. The fire was apparently out when crews arrived, but hot coals were still visible in the tree, and the power company was notified about damage to the power line and pole.
