Severe thunderstorm warning for parts of southern Connecticut and southeastern New York

As discussed during the dispatch call, a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for North Central Fairfield County and Northwestern New Haven County in Connecticut, and Eastern Putnam County in southeastern New York, until 5:00 p.m. EDT. The storm was located over Wingdale (about 8 miles north of Pawling) moving southeast, with potential for ping-pong-ball size hail and around 60 mph wind gusts that may damage trees, power lines, roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
