Now here is the hazardous weather outlook for portions of southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and southwest into central Wisconsin. For tonight, thunderstorms are possible this evening into tonight. A few may become strong. And now the extended outlook for the period Wednesday through Monday, while it is uncertain if thunderstorms will develop early Wednesday morning 40 to 50% chance, if they do, localized heavy rain and flooding may occur. Heat indices are expected to climb into the 100 to 104 degree range on Wednesday. A heat advisory is in effect for the vast majority of the region. A few strong to severe storms will be possible late Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night. Damaging winds will be the main hazard. Additionally, a tornado cannot be ruled out, primarily north of Interstate 94. Spotter information statement, spotters might be needed Wednesday afternoon and evening.
