Highway 143 closed by flooding near viaduct

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency radio traffic reports that Highway 143 is shut down at the viaduct between Wood River and Edwardsville because of flooding and water over the roadway. Fire units are advised that any calls east of the district may require an alternate route.
