Described as a white male,

5'10", black hair, wearing a baseball cap, and he was carrying an oversized Tito bag.

And that bag did contain multiple products from Stop & Shop, but I don't know the dollar amount.

And have the PD's on their way over to Stop & Shop.

They are found heading towards Route 9, possibly going to Big Y somewhere in that area.
