SUV weaving on highway, goes off road near Stillwater

Dispatch received repeated reports of a Mitsubishi sport utility vehicle weaving across lanes on the northbound interstate near mile marker 183. A caller believed the vehicle may have hit the median barrier. The vehicle continued north, passing the Broadway and Hogan Road areas. Officers coordinated to locate it while dispatch asked the caller to keep following and providing updates. A license plate number was provided and recorded. Shortly afterward, a report came in that the vehicle had gone off the road near a highway crossover north of Stillwater. Fire and medical responders were requested in case there was a medical issue with the driver. Officers used nearby exits and crossovers to reach the scene and confirmed the vehicle was off the road near the crossover north of Hogan Road. An officer made contact with the driver seated in the vehicle, and initial checks were completed at the scene.
