Man reportedly pulls knife on subway platform

Police received a call from a man at the East 149th Street and Grand Concourse subway station saying another man pulled a knife on him while they were on the platform waiting for the 2 and 5 train. The caller said the man was about 50 years old, medium build, and wearing all black. Units were sent to the station, and officers later reported that a man had been placed in handcuffs on the uptown platform. The radio traffic also mentioned checking whether the knife had been recovered. During the same radio sequence, officers separately requested an ambulance to the Bronx Court building for a woman on the second floor who was having difficulty breathing.
