Pedestrian hit by transit bus that left the scene

Radio units are sent to near Cumberland Avenue in front of Sinatra's restaurant for a report that a man was run over by a bus. The man is conscious and is taken inside the restaurant. Dispatchers and officers discuss that it appears to be a transit bus that dropped the man off at the corner of South Irving and another street. The man slipped back into the roadway, was struck by the bus, and the bus continued westbound on Kenmore Avenue without staying at the scene. Fire and medical crews are also dispatched, and transit authorities are requested to respond.
