(name withheld) is going on high angle and jeez why you got to wait at the red lights around here holy crap man my light turned green and I hesitated for a moment if I would have went I would have got Cheebo and some dude blue through the light at like light speed holy crap that's crazy out there I'm telling you man I'm glad you're gonna retire in a while man it's uh the highways byways now they scare me dude people are freaking out of control on the highway or they're not paying attention and they're out of control bad enough that they're trying to drive and they just can't get it but it's another thing if they know how to drive but they're focused on their phone you you guys only knew how bad it was I see I drive a lot as you both know and I see it all day every single day Luckily, California's passed tough new laws against even being able to touch your cell phone. You're not allowed to have your hands on it at all. Yeah, that was a good deterrent. When I do the flagging work, you know, on the road flagging, that's an interesting job because you get to really see how people don't pay attention. Because a lot of people get run over doing that job. But yeah, you sit there for eight hours and watch people sitting behind the wheel of their car pissed off at a light. And then the instant it turns freaking green, people behind them are pissed. They freaking start honking. It's funny. in one car, two of them. And I looked over at him and the passenger looked at me and Aaron said, you're going to give him the finger and right when he looked over at me, my finger went up and he just looked at me and stared at me as I went by and didn't move a muscle. It's just incredible. Well, the people out there wearing the vests guiding the traffic, they're doing all the work and the High Patrol guys on overtime making all the big dollars are just sitting there with their thumbs and their asses. Those guys are offensive to me. or tax dollars get wasted on those guys. And what you're saying, Dave, is true. I see so many people, they don't slow down going by those guys. They go flying by them. I slow down. I always wave or give them the peace sign, you know, like, what's up? Give them a head nod or something, get a little acknowledgement. And most of them will do it back, man. And I'm just saying, hey, I appreciate what you're doing, and I see you there.
