Police mediate dispute over belongings at home

Police were sent to a home near Ramblewood Trail for a family dispute. A 28-year-old woman called, saying she was trying to collect her belongings from her grandparents’ house. She reported that her grandmother was yelling at her, calling her names, and saying she would call the police because the grandmother believed the caller was drunk. The caller also sounded intoxicated to the call taker. Officers checked on an elderly male resident, who was fine. The caller then put some of her things in her grandfather’s car, and he agreed to drive her somewhere. The situation was resolved and officers cleared the scene.
