Traffic stop leads to warrant arrest and car search

Deputies stopped a gray 2012 Hyundai Sonata near Superior and Glenmont. Due to a snow-covered back window, they could not see how many people were inside at first. A records check showed the registered driver, a 32-year-old woman from another city, had an active pickup bench warrant from another jurisdiction. Deputies detained both occupants of the car and searched the vehicle based on the smell of burnt marijuana. No one was reported injured and there was no medical issue.
