Why is the dog wearing a diaper

Parents could be drunk or loaded and not even know the kid's gone, thank goodness at least the dog knows it could have been protecting him.

"Child in diaper found alone at intersection with dog" would be a much better headline. This sounds like the dog was in his diaper.

Even the dog knew to watch over the child. Come on.

I'd be more concerned with the dog in the childs diaper.
