Fire crews were sent to a home near Poags Hole Court in the town of Dansville for a toaster that was on fire. Law enforcement at the scene later reported that the toaster had been removed from the house and the situation was under control, so most fire units were told to stand down and only one truck continued in. During the same period, an ambulance was dispatched to a public care facility on Murray Hill Drive in Mount Morris for an 80‑year‑old woman who was awake but having trouble breathing and had high blood pressure. Fire units also received a report of a gas odor inside a building, coming from the area near an oven, and a multi‑building response was requested.
