Welfare check requested after domestic history concern

Officers are sent to check on a woman at a home on East Lake Road in the Town of DeRuyter. A friend, who picked up the woman’s medication a few days earlier, has not been able to contact her and usually reaches her through an online message service. The woman lives with a man at the home, and there is a known history of domestic problems between them. The friend asks for a welfare check and does not want the man to know she called because she is afraid of him.
