Sailboat reported in distress drifting near Washington Island
Rescue – Marine Distress Washington Island Fire, your request to respond with your boat. Report of a white sailboat that could have been in distress in the area between Death Store and Washington Island appeared to be last drifting southbound towards Gills Rock area, but was unable to be seen from shore any longer. Color thought it was possibly having problems with its owner. Frequency clear, 1342 hours.
Boat reported drifting and possibly in distress near island
Boating Accident / Distress area of 854, Wisconsin Bay Road. This is where our complainant is calling from. Stated that they had seen a boat appeared to be in distress and then it may have lost a motor. She was unsure exactly how far that boat would have been from that residence, however she can no longer see it. Last scene about 1.30 p.m. drifting southbound towards Gilt Rock. When it was initially seen, it was between Death Store and Washington Island. But again, she cannot see the boat anymore. It was white, unknown length. Frequency clear at 1339.

Traffic Hazard Mr. Bay, Liberty Grove Fire Department responds to the intersection of State Highway 42 and Hillside Drive. Her law enforcement on scene, there is oil in the roadway. Frequency clear, 0229 hours.
