Man tries to leave hotel with woman’s daughter

Police received a report of a domestic dispute outside the Extended Stay hotel near Monument Drive. The caller said a male acquaintance, who she believed was on drugs and had past trouble with the law, was trying to leave in a vehicle with her daughter and had loaded the daughter’s belongings into the car. She also reported that the man nearly backed his vehicle into hers. The caller hung up, refused further questions, and could not be reached when dispatch tried to call back.
