Officers find unsecured apartment with dogs inside

Officers respond to a report of an unsecured residence near Coventry Lane. They find the front door open with no key holder present. Inside, they check the apartment and note both a small dog and a larger dog. There is no response when they call out, and a vehicle linked to the resident is at the location. Officers request that the animal control officer be notified to assist with the dogs while they continue to check the home.
