High speed vehicle pursuit on rural county roads

Officers were involved in a vehicle pursuit that started on State Route 18 near 400 West and continued through several rural county roads, including Main Street, 500 West, 200 South, Roseburg Pike, and Avon. The vehicle reached speeds of about 70 to 80 miles per hour. Stop sticks were placed at the intersection of 500 South and 500 West, and a police dog unit assisted in the pursuit. There was also a separate report of a suspicious person sitting on a back porch near Kell Road, which was later reported to be a family member.
