Domestic dispute involving coffee mug near infant

Police were dispatched to an apartment on Shady Lane for a domestic disturbance. The caller reported that the mother, who had been drinking, tried to hit the caller with a coffee mug and nearly struck a two‑month‑old baby. The baby was not hurt and did not need medical help. Officers discussed whether there was any weapon in the home, and a female officer was requested to help with a search. On a later call back, someone at the scene said the husband had not been serious about a weapon, and dispatch confirmed there was no weapon at the location.
