00:04
We have a (number withheld)-year-old female with a chief complaint of an unwitnessed fall.
00:12
Patient's vitals are stable.
00:16
Would you like a full report?
00:22
Patient had an unwitnessed fall at 6 a.m.
00:26
She was on the edge of the bed trying to reach for something and kind of just flipped forward.
00:31
Patient fell and hit her head.
00:34
Complains of lower back pain and a headache.
00:38
Other than that, vital signs are stable.
00:42
And she's alert and oriented.
00:45
Vitals were 110 over sixty-nine, eighty-eight heart rate, ninety-six oh two.
00:57
Patient is on eliquis as well.
01:00
Did she lose consciousness?
01:08
Okay, so she has full recall falling and hitting her head.
01:16
And then, are we seeing any outward signs of trauma to her head or anywhere else?
01:21
She has a small knot on her head, but other than that, we didn't see anything else.
01:28
We're also coming from Grossmont, plus to Q.
01:34
Hi, copy. Max ELS 200 and thirty-four.
01:39
I am going to send you guys over as a special.
01:42
Scripps Mercy will be your closest, just because she did hit her head and is on that blood thinner.
01:49
Yeah, I understand if they requested Grossmont, but if you can talk to them about needing to go to a trauma center because of hitting her head and being on a blood thinner, that would probably be the safest bet for her where she can get the best care.
02:02
Can you give me your incident number, please?
02:05
Of course, it is 8076.
