60-year-old female with abdominal pain en route to hospital

Paramedics are transporting a 60-year-old female patient to Grossmont hospital. She has sudden onset of abdominal and right flank pain radiating to the umbilical area, described as sharp chest pain. Upon assessment, her heart rate is abnormally low with sinus bradycardia at 42, blood pressure is 179 over 82, and respiration rate is about 20 breaths per minute with good lung sounds. She received IV fluids with monitoring ongoing. The patient is stable but requires pain medication as needed. Arrival at the hospital is expected in one hour.
