Report of large unauthorized bonfire near loop

A caller reported that a neighbor had a large, unauthorized bonfire on the ground near Northwest 106th Loop. Responders were sent to check the area on the Lake City side of the loop. The caller later reported that the neighbor might be putting out the fire and that no smoke or flames were visible, but said the burn pile had been larger than a standard-sized car. Authorities continued to respond to verify the situation and ensure the fire was properly extinguished.
