Abandoned disabled car blocking lane at intersection

Officers were dispatched to Monroe Street and Lake Road for a disabled Chevy Cruze reported to be blocking the roadway with no one with the vehicle. One officer on scene initially reported the car was far enough off the road to not block traffic, and a private tow truck was expected shortly. Later radio traffic clarified that the car was in the middle of the roadway and causing a traffic obstruction. Officers monitored the scene and awaited towing to clear the vehicle from the intersection.
