Scooter rider hit by car, minor leg injuries

A 19-year-old scooter rider was hit by a car moving at about 15 miles per hour. He was not wearing a helmet and briefly ended up on the car’s hood and then the ground. He remained alert with no loss of consciousness and reported no neck or back pain. He had a few small scrapes on his right leg, with no obvious deformity, and his vital signs were generally stable except for elevated blood pressure. He was resting comfortably on the stretcher and being taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
