Suspicious vehicle reported at Madison Public Library

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle running in the parking lot at Madison Public Library near Middle Ridge Road. The vehicle had been parked for more than 30 minutes with the engine running and lights on. The report came from a woman whose sister lives across the street. Officers checked on the person possibly involved and confirmed she was safe and had not called emergency services. The caller later reported that the vehicle left the area. At one point the sister indicated the vehicle might have been stolen, but the call was canceled after the vehicle departed.
