Worker hit by car that crashed into building

Emergency medical staff are taking a 26-year-old woman to UW Hospital after a car drove into a building and pinned her between the vehicle and a brick wall while she was working inside. She has a deep cut on her right chin and cheek, a missing right index finger, and an open fracture of her left thigh with a large open wound. Bleeding from the leg has been controlled with two tourniquets. She is awake, alert, and breathing well, with good lung sounds, but her blood pressure is low. She has two intravenous lines in place, is receiving fluids and pain medicine, and there are no current breathing or airway problems.
