don't make it sound like the parents are bad people they're still human and they are also sad about their kid dying we should be supportive instead of talking crap

child's parents should be held responsible for not putting it up or in a safety lock box then that wouldn't have happened to there son he still would have been alive

I live in the South…. Ppl bit€t about gun rights and the majority either can’t wait to use them and are super paranoid or can’t freaking be responsible with them and put them in a safe place. Those that say “I don’t hide my guns cause I taught my kids how to use them” are the biggest morons. Kids are freaking kids. You also teach them how not to eat candy before dinner but given the opportunity, they still will. For the same reason. The brain is not completely developed enough to make conscious and responsible decisions. Your kid knows about not touching your weapons until either they get curious and shoot themselves or their friends. Then a “omg sowwie” is not enough idiots. If freaking adult grown men still play Russian roulette, what can you expect from a child. That’s why accidental or not, the parents should always get charged!!!

The parents are responsible for not locking the gun up. Poor little girl.

It’s a good thing we aren’t able to have access to grenades. Rip little angel. I’m sorry you were able to get a hold of that. Even at 5, SOMEONE should have warned you about the dangers of that.

Someone should have been smart enough not to have a loaded gun & unlocked for a child to get!
