Reckless driver flees restaurant parking lot in Mesa

Staff at Ojos Locos on South Alma School Road in Mesa reported a man leaving the parking lot after a verbal and physical altercation. He drove away in a silver GMC sport utility vehicle, speeding through the lot and nearly hitting parked cars. Witnesses said he drove over a curb, ran a red light, and headed south on Alma School Road at high speed. Officers attempted to locate the vehicle as it continued south past Baseline Road. No injuries were reported in the radio traffic.
