Teen refuses to come inside during family dispute

Police were dispatched to a home near South Mesa Drive for a family disturbance involving a 14-year-old boy who was being confrontational and refusing to come inside. The boy had been contacted earlier by a runaway crisis worker and was reported to try to leave during calls. The reporting parent said she was having a mental health crisis and asked for officers to remove the children. During the incident, the boy was described and later went back inside the residence. Units coordinated by radio while handling the call and related activity, including noting that another person was transported to Banner Desert hospital in a separate matter.
