Motorcycle crash with possible hit-and-run vehicle

At the intersection of Stapley Drive and Brown Road in Mesa, a vehicle and a motorcycle were involved in a crash. A caller reported seeing the motorcycle hit a curb, causing the rider to go over the handlebars. The rider was injured but conscious, alert, and breathing. The rider reported that it might have been a hit-and-run involving a white Tesla, though its involvement was uncertain. Later, dispatchers reported that an older gray pickup truck may have left the area and was possibly last seen heading westbound, then a pickup was seen turning back eastbound. Someone on scene reportedly had video of the incident. Fire and medical units were sent to assist the rider.
