Structure fire call turns out to be barbecue smoke

Fire crews were sent to a reported structure fire near 39th Avenue in Oakland after a faint smell of smoke was reported. When the first engine arrived, they found no visible fire and began investigating with a water supply ready. It was quickly determined that the smoke came from a barbecue, so the structure fire response was canceled and most units returned to service.
